A catch-all mailbox receives messages sent to non-existent addresses under the same domain. For instance, a message sent to the mistyped suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com if the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. In this way, you can get emails from partners or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a typo or to an obsolete one, which they may still have, but you have already deactivated. Only one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at a certain point you may start receiving spam messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation means that the spam will not be sent to a third-party mailbox.

A catch-all button is available next to each and every email address that you have set up under any domain name registered in the account. Clicking the button once again will disable the catch-all feature. You will be able to set up a catch-all email address with no more than a click in case you have a semi-dedicated hosting service with us and your email messages are handled by our cloud platform. All the addresses that you set up using any domain hosted in the semi-dedicated hosting account will be displayed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel.
